Alexander James Hairdressing, Solihull can also boast their very own in-house L’oreal hair colour expert! Hair colourist Sam completed the L’oreal advanced colour specialist programme with 98% Distinction! Not only that, Sam was part of the prestigious L'Oreal Colour Specialist Innovation Team and regional finalist for the L’Oréal Colour Trophy in both 2016 & 2017 – so rest assured you’re in safe hands at our Solihull hairdressers. On my first visit Nicola carried out a thorough consultation for a tricky colour correction. I took her advice and the results are fabulous.     I walked in to your salon randomly looking for a huge change with my hair !!!! I was introduced to Rachel who did surprise me as she complemented my hair and looked for the good said rather than go dramatic let’s get it healthy and a good cut !! I felt instantly lifted and took Rachel’s advice and then on a recent visit said now I’m ready for Another change and she took control so confidently I took her advice instantly trusted her as she has listened from the day I walked in about my hair frustration !! And I went for it complete change from dark brown almost black to highlights and am blown away and not only am I blown away there was a lot riding on this !!! I wanted to surprise My husband who was returning from visiting his son in New Zealand to show him what he was missing !!! And my hair did just that !! I looked and felt beautiful I am delighted he is also !!!thank you Rachel I will be back and so will my boss spreading the word !! Thank you Karen

    I always enjoy visiting Alexander James, the staff are all very friendly and professional, the atmosphere is relaxed and we do have a giggle and sometimes a huge belly laugh too. Most of all I know the staff especially Sam my hairdresser of nearly 7 years, always makes me look and feel better after a visit.

    After years of fighting my frizzy hair with products, hairdryers and ghd straighteners, I thought I would give the Nano-Keratin treatment a try and all i cal say is WOW!!!! I am amazed by the difference, not only is is quicker to dry, it needs less straightening and even in the humidity in Florida no sign of the frizz returning! Thanks to Nicky for freeing me from the daily frizz battle!

    I was recommended to Gill after being at my previous hairdressers for a long time but unfortunately they made a big mistake with my hair. I lost confidence in hairdressers so it grew out of shape and I coloured it myself. I went for a consultation with Gill who told me things my previous hairdressers didn't and which made sense. I booked an appointment and have not looked back. The whole team have restored my trust. Loving my hair now. Thanks ladies, you're stars. Really lovely salon, very relaxing, especially when offered prosecco !!! :-)
