Worst hair even cut all uneven would not recommend this place

I had my hair cut at Woking salon today by Elise I am very happy and I will be booking Elise to cut my hair again

I am so happy with my hair cut Elise was so informative about my hair and very polite I will be booking to have my hair cut again by Elise.

Booked an appointment as a new client with Holly at the Basingstoke branch for 01/03/25.I very disappointed with the finish and I asked why my hair looked uneven, shorter on one side and my hair didn’t sit right she said it was the way she had blow dried my hair and she didn’t want too cut too much off the other side. I have never left a hairsalon with such an uneven haircut in my lifetime. Once I left the salon, I phoned the manager who asked me to pop to the salon today 03/03 and he would assess the damage, I went to the salon and he agreed one side was shorter then the other and he offered for the original stylist to recut I it but declined on the basis that the stylist didn’t feel she had done anything wrong !! The manager then offered for another stylist to correct it but unfortunately I decided to go with my gut instinct which was that I had NO confidence or faith in the hair lab salon or their stylists to correct it. I won’t be recommending this salon or Holly. Avoid this place all costs unless you want an uneven haircut.

George is an absolute star. He is not only my fav hairstylist but takes time to listen and treat with the best respect. The whole of the team in Woking are friendly and come away feeling good. Thankyou

I had a haircut with Izzy today and she did an amazing job, left the salon feeling very confident with myself with my new haircut! Not only did she do a good job but we also had a good ol\' chat while she cutting my hair, overall it was a great hairdressing experience

Congratulations Katie on your passing of your assessments. Katie is a competent and a very good stylist and colourist. She has done my hair a few times as an apprentice and every time I have walked out with beautiful short hair .

Needed a last minute cut & they managed to fit me in. Keira was so lovely, listened to every request & discussed what was best with my hair type when I wasn’t sure. Very pleased with my hair cut & feel she absolutely went above & beyond making it look great. A lovely clean light salon with a fabulous, calm atmosphere & friendly staff!

My hairdresser was Morgan and he was incredible!! He reassured me my hair journey would take 2 appointments and he was so right!! After these appointments my hair has never looked better and it’s exactly how I wanted it!! It’s perfect! So so good

I was tody at hair lab woking to cut my hair the lady said ok at 16:00 im free i was agree i came back in 30 min and after i waited for 15 min she said i never go at front desk and that she is busy but she only stay and chat with her friend.Not professional at all.very dissapointed.

Amazing experience! Recently switched from having my hair done at a friend\'s house to having it done professionally, and I am loving every second! My new hairdresser, Taylor, is extremely kind and I have learnt a lot about what to do with my hair. She\'s perfectly recreated the pictures I\'ve shown her and has given lots of tips, as well as engaging in conversation to keep us entertained. Absolutely amazing!! Definitely recommend to anyone reading this!

Booked a light brown balayage hair lab woking and walked out with uneven, un-blended BRIGHT orange and black hair. I was only told that my hair would appear as a ‘slightly warmer/darker’ shade of brown. At the wash bowl I was then told my hair would now be a ‘slightly coppery’ shade of brown. Stylist (Elise) was not honest with me during the process about how it went wrong. I had initially asked for the balayage to be as close to my roots as possible however the bright orange colour was placed nowhere near the roots. Stylist then wasn’t open to any conversation regarding a refund after completely ruining my hair. All I received was an offer for me to come in TWO days later for her to tone my hair after which would not fix it (only after me having to constantly ask for something to be done to fix it) and a ‘sorry bout that’ However ; after speaking to someone else at the salon I was able to come in the next day to have it fixed. A different stylist did an amazing job at fixing the horrid bright orange colour although after all, my hair ended up looking very similar to what it looked like before I booked in to get it done just glad it’s been fixed now. This was definitely just an issue with the one stylist in particular (Elise) who completely ruined my hair rather than the salon itself considering how unprofessionally my hair was done by her + how she chose to handle the situation as if it were no big deal whilst completely trying to ignore the fact that my hair had gone terribly wrong. I would completely avoid booking with her. The other stylist updated me during each step and listened to my expectations for my hair very carefully which I am grateful for. Overall was a very traumatic and upsetting experience and don’t think I’ll be getting my hair done again.

Absolutely love having my hair washed and blow dry Millie does my hair amazing they are all good but Millie stands out very friendly too

I have been here before and recently had a cut by Olivia . She was very attentive and I was thrilled with the result, and a lovely blow dry too. The salon is so friendly with the most delightful and skilled manager who always makes the time to chat . Excellent products in stock, Kerastase and L’Oreal. Had a lovely complimentary coffee too. Would highly recommend and have made my next appointment. Helen

I had a lovely experience for my first time at this salon, all the staff were so lovely and welcoming and the stylist did an amazing job on my hair and completely listened to what I wanted to do, while suggesting ways she could make it happen. It was a wonderful environment and I was so happy with the end result of my balayage

Avoid Hairlab Woking. Staff with really poor attitudes. Really disappointing from a big chain, customer service non existent.

Absolutely shocking service at Woking. Tried to charge £55 instead of quoted price of £35 for a trim on gent (with long shoylder length hair). The staff were less than welcoming. Bad attitudes and actually let me walk out with a big blow waved Bob haircut that looked terrible. Staff were standing at the counter and pointing at me and laughing behind their hands. I\'m a 21 year old masculine trendy man who was made to feel embarrassed. Customer service awful. Avoid avoid avoid . I work in the hair and fashion industry as a model and this experience is really disappointing from a salon chain. Bad management to let your staff behave in such an unprofessional manner , shame on you Hair Lab.

Patience is always so great when I come in for my usual colour and cut. She is efficient and great at what she does. And always remembers to check in on what we are doing to see if i want to make any changes. Highly recommend, as someone with curly hair I have been through a lot of hair dressers so I am so glad I have found someone to stick with!
