The salon was founded in 1991 with just 3 enthusiastic hairdressers. Today the company employs a team of over 20, they are still enthusiastic, but are more experienced with a focused vision which of course is …YOUR HAIR …OUR PASSION
Our aim is to not only give a better service in the salon, but to build in an instructional “aftercare” progamme,so clients are taught the right way to keep their hair looking good every day. This is what we call “the 5 step recipe”, all based upon a friendly welcome,a genuine two way consultation, product recommendations, a designer hair cut and a home care maintenance programme.

    My hair was excessively long as I was injured some weeks ago and unable to get out of the house. Stylist did a really great job. Given a head massage too which was very relaxing. Highly recommended. Tea and coffee and water offered.

    Had a curly cut with Maicey this afternoon and could not be happier. She gave great advice, did a beautiful cut that gave a new lease to my heavy flattened curls, listened to me when I said no sticky gels or mousse and even had the patience to teach a complete numpty how to finger curl. Will definitely be back and thoroughly recommend.

    The Cutting Studio is THE salon in the area! Staff are all amazing, the atmosphere is great, it\'s so clean and they are so on top of all covid precautions, I felt very safe. Lucy M gave me a full head of highlights, refitted my extensions (I didnt get these trimmed) and styled it. The colour match is unbelievable, she had such attention to detail and listened to everything I asked for. I left feeling so happy! Would highly recommend :)
