I was delighted yet again with the care and consideration that I received at Gavin Ashley\\\'s salon yesterday. I have a regular senior stylist Naomi but as she wasn\\\'t available, another senior stylist, Vanessa, looked after me. I have also had others and they are all excellent and very experienced.
As this was my first time with Vanessa, we started with a really in depth consultation about my hair. I have an extremely sensitive scalp and have prescription shampoo. I was impressed with the technical knowledge and expertise of the staff. They did a K-Scan which shows the scalp in microscopic detail and gives you a detailed scalp health analysis. I came away feeling empowered and have made an appointment to see my GP to try and resolve this ongoing issue. Thank you to all the friendly staff at Gavin Ashley.

I had a full head of highlights with Milly yesterday - she was absolutely lovely. Really listened to what I wanted and did the most amazing job. I am so pleased with the result & cannot recommend her highly enough. Brilliant!

I arrived 6 minutes after my appointment at 15 past, the woman at the front desk said Abby was no longer seeing me because it was past 10 minutes and they were closing at 5. I explained it was not 10 but 6 and plenty of time. She asked Abby and she refused. I reminded her it was only 6 minutes but she said no. As I left they both joined each other talking at the desk. I never encountered such service. The arrogance and lying that it was 10 minutes is shocking. I will never attend this place ever again. Pure laziness.

Massive thank you to Abi, who was brilliant! I came in needing a colour correction after having my hair done somewhere else! I am very pleased with my hair and have rebooked my next appointment!

Wonderful cut and blow dry this morning by the lovely Becca.. She took time to find out exactly what I wanted and has done an amazing job. I feel so much better. Everyone in the salon was so friendly & welcoming.. Will certainly book again.

This is my second time with Ella, and she is absolutely fantastic. A very talented colourist and stylist, who is also so friendly and chatty. She made me feel very relaxed and at ease. I am so happy with my colour and cut, and look forward to my next visit.

I have gone here a few times now over the past few years to get my hair cut, and every time I leave loving how it was cut and my experience there. The staff are brilliant at their job, with being friendly and thorough in what they do. I had my hair cut for the first time in a year yesterday, and I love how it turned out. I feel much more confident and comfortable with myself, and cannot wait until I will need to get it cut again, as I know my next appointment will be just as good. They are also very good with sorting out rescheduling issues, as I accidentally did book on a day I already had plans, but they sorted it out quickly and efficiently, and sent a text reminder two days before the appointment so I knew it was fully rescheduled and did not have to worry it wasn\'t put in the system.

After not having my hair done for way too long, my husband booked me an appointment with Ella before our holiday, Ella made me feel so relaxed and did an amazing colour, cut and style. Ella is absolutely incredible and an asset to the salon. All staff were professional and welcoming. Thank you!

Came into the salon with an idea in my head of what I wanted. Spoke with Jayne and she went over the disadvantages of the style I was looking at. She described to me what she thought would be best and I left myself in her capable hands. The cut is wonderful, far better than I could have hoped for. All the staff in the salon were friendly & helpful and I will certainly be back.

Kevin did a fantastic job with my hair, both color and cut! Highly recommend him. It looks rich and the cut is precise.
