We are beyond excited to welcome you to our brand new salon situated in the heart of the beautiful historic town of Harpenden. At Johnson Blythe in Harpenden we strive to deliver a welcoming, luxury 5* experience to each and every one of our wonderful clients. We work with some of the best quality and most effective products in the industry including L’Oréal Professional, Kerastase and Olaplex. We pride ourselves on the passionate, highly skilled and carefully curated team of stylists who are here to give you the best salon experience time and time again. Starting your hair journey with a new hair stylist can be daunting, but at Johnson Blythe our aim is to go above and beyond to exceed your expectations. The new salon is headed up by former Hertford Head Stylist James, and he is joined by two new experienced stylists, Kelly De Klerk and Alfie Casey. Whether you are a guest that enjoys being pampered, wants to maintain your current style or are looking for a fresh new look, we are here to tailor your salon experience at every appointment.

Mitchel was absolutely amazing. He was incredibly patient, kind and inclusive throughout my appointment. I’m non verbal, and he took the time to make sure I felt comfortable, understood and included at every stage, which I really appreciated. He explained everything clearly, never made me feel rushed, and created such a relaxed and welcoming experience. Most importantly, my hair looks amazing! First time going to Johnson Blythe and had a great experience. It was a recommendation from a friend of the family, as I needed a new hairdressers, after going to the same one for nearly 30yrs! Amber was friendly and professional and put me at ease straight away. She listened to what I needed and wanted to achieve through my first consultation and then my appointment. I am extremely happy with the end result and will be going back. Also a quick mention for Grace who washed my hair and gave a gorgeous head massage. All round, a really good experience. Thanks

Lucie was so lovely and patient whilst cutting my chatty 4-year olds hair! She did exactly as my daughter wanted and she was so happy with the result. Lucie even put some waves through at the end so she could look just like Mummy. 10/10!
