Renaissance Hair Team was established in 1985. After returning to Ipswich, and just before turning 20, Michele decided to open up a unisex hairdressing salon. The concept was, and still is, to embrace and combine new and old styles, hence the name Renaissance. We endeavor to provide each client with an individual look to suit them, and encourage the involvement of the client in this. The Artistic team is a key facet of Renaissance providing the opportunity to visually showcase the creativity and talent of the team. William Jon is an award winning Hairdressers/Hair salon in Ashton Under Lyne, headed up by award winning Salon Director Stephen Peel. ( The Wella Award as seen in Vogue ). Stephen was appointed official hairdresser for the Manchester Commonwealth Games, managing a team of over 100 hairdressers, this included stylist teams from Vidal Sassoon, Toni and Guy and Piere Alexandere. In addition he has also been featured in vogue magazine, National television (acting as hair doctor on ITV) and National newspapers. Furthermore he has attended to the hair of James Bond Girls, international models and numerous celebrities and was given careful consideration by the Lord Advocate for Prince William and Kate’s wedding. Stephen also enjoyed lecturing at Manchester College to Advanced Level and sat on the board of advisors for the Manchester Education Authority. Despite his depth of experience Stephen continually attends Vidal Sassoon training, working with their artistic director to keep up to date with all modern fashions and styles, aiming to ensure you get London standard Hairdressing in Ashton-Under-Lyne.
