I visited City Retreat this at Jesmond for the first time and it was a truly exceptional experience. From the front desk, Kayleigh welcomed me warmly and answered all my questions. I had a 5hr+ session and Catherine, the therapist who attended to me was simply fantastic. She was professional all through my sessions; she gave the most relaxing massage and took her time explaining the treatments I was having and asked about my skin concerns before starting. She gave me helpful tips about my nail concerns and was just brilliant. I was constantly offered drinks (water, tea, coffee) in addition to a delicious afternoon tea and lovely fruit platter. The ambience of the spa was breath taking, very oriental and calming. To be honest, this has been my best spa experience in the UK and I have been to a couple of spas. I haven't stopped raving about it and can't wait to go back soon! Thank you for the fantastic experience I had!

Had a fabulous full body scrub and the most amazing facial. Staff lovely and welcoming and left feeling very chilled. I can definitely recommend and will definitely be returning.

Absolutely gorgeous experience. The treatment room was a calming atmosphere and the technician was very warm and welcoming and communicated clearly what to expect, as well as asking what level of pressure I preferred. The massage itself was so relaxing and I felt comfortable throughout.

The cosiest place to be on a wintery day. As always the welcome was warm..my massage was relaxing and tailored just to me and how I was feeling that day. The facial left me feeling like a new women. Keep on doing it just the way you always have.
