This is such a lovely place. I had a 60 minute full body massage and it was the most relaxed I’ve ever felt. It’s such a convenient location and feels like a peaceful haven in Jesmond! We’ve also booked the private spa rooms before and it’s so lovely to have private access to a sauna and steam room. The staff are lovely as well! Would 10/10 recommend

Absolutely perfect. From the moment we walked in we felt like royalty. All staff were lovely, so kind, couldn\'t do enough. The private spa facilities were a dream, the fruit platter and juice drinks a lovely touch. I was given a tea and a coffee before and after our treatment. I went for the full body massage and it was amazing. Best massage I\'ve had and I\'ve had a few. We will definitely be back. Perfect.

First time here at City Retreat Jesmond and honestly I can’t wait to go back. It was 5 stars all round from arriving and the ladies helping us complete paperwork, providing refreshments to the massage omg it was the best ive ever had and I’ve paid a lot of money for massages previous. I seriously won’t go anywhere else now. The ladies are so lovely and helpful and we are planning to book up for the private spa room and massages for a birthday celebration after Christmas. Couldnt thank yous enough for giving us a beautiful afternoon for my mams birthday! If I could give yous a higher rating I would!!

We had some time in the private spa area followed by a facial by Lucy. This was probably the best facial I have ever had, my skin was glowing. I will definitely be back

Amazing sanctuary in a really convenient location! The spa is heavenly, the treatments are incredible and the staff are just lovely! I could not fault it! Had a wonderful and relaxing experience at the Jesmond Spa. We’d booked a couples massage for my wife and I and we felt at peace as soon as we arrived. We were asked how much pressure we would like before the treatment and the pressure throughout was perfect for what we wanted. The massage was exactly what was needed and we’ve already booked another treatment for next month. Can see this becoming a regular experience! Thanks again.

Amazing experience. First time attend City Retreat. Me and my girlfriend had a couples spa package that included steam and sauna facilities, fruit selection, cupcake selection and fruit juices. We had a 30 minute massage and 60 minute facial. Given that I’d never been to a spa retreat before, I was a little apprehensive but the ladies made us feel very comfortable. Explaining exactly what they’d be doing at every stage. Absolutely worth every penny. The service was out of the world. We will definitely be returning. 100% a must go experience

Second visit today for a for a back, shoulder, neck & scalp massage, it was amazing & very relaxing! Staff were friendly, welcoming & lovely throughout I will definitely be going back and would recommend

Wonderful massage. Cienna listened to everything I said about my back and neck. Her pressure was just right throughout the treatment. And the neck, scalp and face massage at the end almost sent me to sleep it was so relaxing! I\'ve already booked my next treatment!

I’ve recently been disappointed with some of the North East Spa’s I’ve visited, so am delighted to have found the fabulous City Retreat in Jesmond. A truly bespoke facility with beautiful private changing area and sauna/steam chill room, ideal for one of my daughters who wears a headscarf. The staff were friendly and welcoming and both of my daughters loved their relaxing massages. The extra refreshments were a lovely touch, especially the cupcakes which were checked for nut allergies. An overall lovely experience, we can’t wait for our next visit.

I had a five hour Heaven Scent package and it was really wonderful. I loved the private time with loungers, wet and dry saunas, fruit and juice both before my massage and facial and after...and the tea in that second window was so nice. I really appreciated being given an option for sandwiches too . I\'m looking forward to booking another package next time I visit Newcastle.

Had a great Elemis - Back, Neck, Shoulders, Face & Scalp Massage with Imogen today. She really listened to me in the consultation and worked the problem areas I had mentioned well. The treatment was so relaxing and I feel like a lot of tension in my shoulders and back has been released. Would definitely recommend. Many thanks

Absolutely fantastic few hours this morning/afternoon at City Retreat Jesmond. Staff were brilliant from start to finish. The ambience was lovely, facilities were great and extremely clean. Our treatments were excellent (my sister said it was the best massage she has ever had and my body scrub was to die for) - both ladies were so professional and paid such great attention to our wishes and modesty. The Prosecco and cupcakes were fabulous too. We will definitely return. Thanks so much. We will be recommending to everyone we know.

I had a hot stone full body massage, the whole experience from start to finish was incredible. The staff on reception were so welcoming. The therapist who carried out my treatment was extremely professional, explaining how the treatment would work and what to expect. The room was stunning, so warm and incredibly relaxing, the temperature and lighting was perfect. The massage was genuinely the best I have ever had, the whole process was so relaxing and enjoyable. The therapists was clearly very experienced and passionate about what she does as it clearly showed. Overall a fantastic experience, one I have told everyone about. I will most certainly be back and can\'t recommend City Retreat enough it\'s above and beyond anywhere else I have been.
