CK Hair was started by Charles Kivlin in 1972 known then as Charles Kivlin Hair Studio. Based in Edinburgh's wonderful New Town the salon opened with just one stylist and one junior. Charles has been one of Edinburgh's top salon stylists, athough he was only 23 years of age he jumped at the chance to put his ideas into action. By offering great personal service and making 'cutting' his priority the salon flourished.
Training is another important thing in CK Hair, as we are now called. We have never had a factory atmosphere and never will. Time to find out the clients needs and to give our time and experience is always the case.
In a constantly changing world it is important to evolve and CK Hair are at the forefront of hair cutting and colouring techniques. We are the premier salon in Scotland using Colour Herbe.
