DK shaped up my hair and gave me good advice on how to proceed with going out my hair.

I attended DKUK today for a shampoo, cut and natural dry treatment, my third visit. Idi is a great hair stylist and I was confident sitting in front of art , without a mirror knowing that I would not be disappointed with the end result.The staff was polite and the music upbeat and relaxing. I did go home and mess about with my hair (habit of mine) and I am very much delighted with such a versatile low maintenance hair style, thanks DKUK.

I am delighted with the service I received! Victoria was amazing, she listened to what I wanted and gave advice on how to improve it, and the result was absolutely lovely. She also spoke through how I can style my hair on my own. Genuinely a wonderful place!

Great haircut, great treatment- all for a very good package price. I booked a treatment that wasn\'t quite right for my hair so Victoria suggested an alternative and it was perfect. Attention to detail and such a great environment. Def returning! Thank you so much!

Unfortunately not a great experience for me. Having no mirrors made me a bit nervous and turned out that my hair was cut way shorter than expected and not as requested. The stylist was still very attentive towards me and made everything to give me a nice experience but I’m sorry to say I wasn’t pleased with the results. Apart from this, the place has a nice vibe and it feels very inclusive, the staff is friendly and welcoming and I really appreciate the “pay what you can” offer on the first haircut so the 3 stars come uniquely from my personal experience. ***UPDATE: After a month, I’m much happier with my hair and the team messaged me to let me know they followed my suggestion and are now asking customers if they prefer to have a mirror. I really appreciate you getting in touch with me :)

I’ve been going to Lidia for years and years to get my hair coloured, I trust her completely! She knows what’s what and always talks me through how to look after the condition of my hair. She’s also so attentive and lovely to talk to! The vibe at DKUK is fantastic, very chilled and everyone’s so friendly. Love coming here

I’ve been having my haircut with Idi at DKUK for the last few years. As Idi was unavailable at short notice I booked in with Rosa for both a cut and my first colour for 10 years! I was a bit anxious about having my hair coloured after a few disasters as a teenager. Rosa was excellent at understanding what I was after and I couldn’t be happier with the result. DKUK is one of the most calming environments with such skilled hairdressers - I won’t go anywhere else!

Excellent!! Very friendly, down-to-earth, and professional team. Rosa was completely in touch with what I requested, and cut my hair just how I wanted. It was the best hairdressing experience I\'ve ever had. Super concept also. I will definitely return when I\'m next in London, and would highly recommend DKUK.

Tyler was so lovely, very very knowledgable and cut my hair so well! The salon is a beautiful space and you’re made to feel at home with teas and coffees. Looking at local artists’ work is a great addition to an already wonderful experience!

Such a relaxing experience! DKUK is a welcoming calm place to get your hair cut. Rosa is really attentive and she listened to everything I liked and didn\'t like about my previous cut and made adjustments accordigly. I walked out of there feeling fabulous!

10/10 experience going to this salon. Everything from ringing to book, the atmosphere and the friendliness of all the staff I spoke with, to the haircut itself and feeling no pressure to talk at all. Having no mirrors was such an add on to the experience and I loved it. My haircut felt like a surprise and it turned out magnificent. The products were great and so was the washing of my hair, my stylist Tyler was so gentle with it.

All round great experience from the moment I entered the salon. Tyler really took the time to cut and style my hair. I never usually like my haircut straight out of the salon but Tyler listened to my preferences and it came out looking how I wanted it!

The staff are absolutely lovely and very welcoming, I was offered tea and coffee throughout my appointment and the end result turned out amazing. It is a little on the pricey side but in my opinion you pay for what you get. Will absolutely be coming back!

I had my first appointment at DKUK today, I booked in for a cut with Idi. I was nervous as I had not been to a hairdresser in years. Idi made me feel so comfortable, I felt listened to and had complete faith in the process. It was also the most gentle hairdressing experience I’ve ever had. I am more than pleased with my new cut. I love this place. I\'ve never felt so relaxed at a hairdressers before. No mirrors on the wall (wheeled out when necessary or helpful) & instead you look at thoughtful artworks. Super-restful. Most importantly - fabulous hair cuts in a inclusive and open environment. Pricey but well worth it.

Such a lovely atmosphere here! I\'ve always struggled getting my hair done but I felt at ease as soon as I walked in. Daniel was great and I felt safe in their hands! Will definitely be coming back. Thank you!

Love this place. I’ve been having my hair cut and coloured here for several years now, even though I no longer live in the area. They listen to what you want and deliver, always exceeding your expectations. Gentle, fun, friendly! Highly recommend.
