Oscar is AMAZING. I came from another salon, who absolutely ruined my hair (broke my hair off with bleach, and then made my hair practically black- when I asked them to rectify it, their solution was to make my hair even darker, which I didn’t want). I googled a colour correction specialist in Essex and Gary Pellicci came up, and I’m so glad they did. I chose to go to Oscar, based on reviews he received, and I’m so happy I did. Oscar was patient, kind and listened. Understandably, I was nervous about visiting a new salon, but he put me at ease straight away. He took two stand tests from different sections of my hair, and I could see the difference in density. Through these strand tests, Oscar explained he would have to do different processes, low peroxide and that it would be a process. I trusted the process, and he took my hair from extremely dark ends, with demarkation lines and some grey thrown in, to making me a beautiful caramel colour, with demi permanent roots so my greys blend in as it grows. I was getting engaged (which added to the worry I felt about my hair), and I look back at the pictures and look light, bright and like myself.
Oscar is a literal hair god. Today was my second visit back, and I can’t explain how happy I am with my hair, and how glad I am to have found someone who actually cares about what I want, but more importantly, the integrity of my hair! Thank you Oscar!

I booked a last minute appointment with Sydnee for highlights and I am so glad that I did. It was my first visit to this salon and the team were all friendly and welcoming. More importantly, Sydnee took the time to understand the colours that I wanted and the end result is exactly as I’d hoped. Very happy!

I have never loved my hair as much as I have since Oscar has been doing my balayage, cut & blow drys. He takes on board everything I ask for and does it perfectly every time. Overall such a lovely salon to go to.

The whole experience from the moment I walked through the door was amazing, the welcome was warm the staff was friendly and the cut, colour and highlights were great! Thoroughly enjoyed every minute of it. Highly recommended for a professional service and awesome results!

Nice place, great haircuts. Recently I went with a different hairstylist and he made me excited about my hair again. Every time I pass a mirror a smile.

I’m a regular at Gary Pellicci. I love their atmosphere and have always felt welcome each time I set foot in there. When it comes to stylists , my vote will always go to Alex. She is absolutely smashing at her job and also extremely polite and helpful. She is always spot on with recommendations on what would suit me the best and upfront if she feels a certain style or colour won’t suit me. I would definitely recommend Alex to anyone as their go-to stylist without a moment’s hesitation.

I had balayage done by the wonderful Charlotte and my hair cut by the equally wonderful Aysha. I was so vague about what I wanted and yet they both exceeded anything I could have imagined. I am absolutely I love with my new colour and style and can’t recommend them highly enough! Thank you so, so much. If you are thinking of booking in at this salon please don’t hesitate as they provide such high quality services. They are all so polite , caring and friendly too!

I had my hair coloured by a trainee on Tuesday 28th February at the Brentwood branch and I must say she was amazing and I am really pleased with the result. I am so sorry I cannot remember her name. Maybe Sidney? The place was spacious and clean and loved the music. I felt very welcomed and all the staff were very friendly. I will definitely come back again.

I highly recommend Lucy at the Ongar branch. Lucy listened to what I wanted and as a result my Balayage colour and cut looks absolutely amazing. This was the first time at the salon and also the first time having a Balayage colour. The Salon was friendly, clean and spacious and as a result of an exceptional experience there I am a very happy customer. Thank you Lucy, I love my new hair style.
