I had such a lovely experience at Gavin Ashley today and I’m absolutely thrilled with my haircut! Alice was fantastic from start to finish. I felt really listened to, which is so important when you’re having your hair done. She took the time to understand exactly what I wanted and made me feel completely comfortable and confident throughout. I absolutely love my cut and walked out of the salon feeling so much happier and more confident about my hair. It’s such a lovely feeling when you feel like your hairdresser has really understood you and what you were hoping for. Thank you so much, Alice I’m so happy with my hair and can’t wait to come back and have it coloured. Gavin Ashley is definitely somewhere I would recommend.

Wanted a haircut at the last minute got an appointment at 11 am Monday. Salon great environment, hairwash great but sadly the cut was dissappointing. No effort was made to style the cut with hand drying just held a hairdryer and rubbed my hair. After having a second stylist confirm cut was ok, of course she is going to, I paid and left with a very dissappointing haircut thats even worse 2 days later. Dont feel stylist paid enought attention to what I wanted or picture I showed as end result was nothing like the picture and no effort made to get it like it even with products. Particularly as she kept telling me it was productd that made the style the way it was.Felt so uncomfortable in theend just wanted to get out so paid and left. Basically an expensive hair wash.

I had my first ‘do’ with Alice yesterday. I had no idea she had only joined the team 3 days ago - totally at home in her new environment. I love my colour transformation. She really does know her stuff and I cannot recommend her highly enough. Thank you Alice - I will be back! ❤️

After seeing encouraging information on their website, I booked a perm here, having never had one before. My stylist, Vanessa, was extremely professional and attentive, and achieved fantastic results. A few weeks on and I am still massively happy with the perm, and I will be coming back again!

I highly recommend Milly, she’s helped work with me on my style and put my mind at ease from day one. Even after I fell asleep in the chair (I’d been up really early for a flight), which left me a little embarrassed, she was kind and empathetic. Loving my new hair too! ☺️

I recommend Vanessa at Gavin Ashley as she’s very supportive of my current blending out grey journey. She’s incredibly reassuring and is happy to take the time to give gentle, expert advice about the best next steps for my hair which I really appreciate as there is so much information out there that I get confused very easily! Vanessa was a pleasure to spend time with. She has a calm, unhurried manner and really listens, which made the whole experience feel considered rather than routine. The cut was thoughtful and precise, and her blow-dry was especially good, very gentle and genuinely relaxing. I would happily book with her again.

I had Becca colour, cut and style my hair. Super happy with the results as I have a lovely blend of colours now that suit the few stray greys I'm getting. Loved the olaplex treatment too which I recommend for maintaining healthy, shiny hair. Very pleased.

Service here is brilliant. All the staff are so friendly. Evening appointments are brilliant. Becca cut my hair exactly how I wanted it. She was brilliant. It looks so much better now!

I was delighted yet again with the care and consideration that I received at Gavin Ashley\\\'s salon yesterday. I have a regular senior stylist Naomi but as she wasn\\\'t available, another senior stylist, Vanessa, looked after me. I have also had others and they are all excellent and very experienced.
As this was my first time with Vanessa, we started with a really in depth consultation about my hair. I have an extremely sensitive scalp and have prescription shampoo. I was impressed with the technical knowledge and expertise of the staff. They did a K-Scan which shows the scalp in microscopic detail and gives you a detailed scalp health analysis. I came away feeling empowered and have made an appointment to see my GP to try and resolve this ongoing issue. Thank you to all the friendly staff at Gavin Ashley.

I had a full head of highlights with Milly yesterday - she was absolutely lovely. Really listened to what I wanted and did the most amazing job. I am so pleased with the result & cannot recommend her highly enough. Brilliant!

I arrived 6 minutes after my appointment at 15 past, the woman at the front desk said Abby was no longer seeing me because it was past 10 minutes and they were closing at 5. I explained it was not 10 but 6 and plenty of time. She asked Abby and she refused. I reminded her it was only 6 minutes but she said no. As I left they both joined each other talking at the desk. I never encountered such service. The arrogance and lying that it was 10 minutes is shocking. I will never attend this place ever again. Pure laziness.

Massive thank you to Abi, who was brilliant! I came in needing a colour correction after having my hair done somewhere else! I am very pleased with my hair and have rebooked my next appointment!
