I have been going to Gore Salon for about 2 years and highly recommend them. I own a cosmetology school and education along with my trade is a must to me and this is what I see in the Gore team. I have known Terri as my hair stylist for the last 18 years. She is a true professional in every sense of the word. Her salon is gorgeous and always immaculate. Her staff and other stylists in the salon are first class and she doesn\'t accept anything less. She always has a great outlook, an eye for the latest styles, and a great sense of humor. I came to her after trying several so called \"top\" stylists in Columbia with a lot of frustration. I obviously was very pleased! She shoots straight and is always honest, something I really appreciate. I admire the fact that she still attends hair shows and does continuing education consistently. I feel this enables her to keep up with and introduce the best quality and healthiest hair products and tools available on the market. She is amazing with color! I am a 10 year breast cancer survivor and when Terri found out she explained to me what was going to happen to my hair, assisted me in choosing the correct wig, and even met me at the salon on a Monday once my hair began to fall out and hurt, when they are normally closed to shave my hair off so I wouldn\'t have to go through that with other clients around. Then trimmed up my wig to look so natural that no one could even tell I was wearing one. To me, that meant the world, and went way above and beyond what she was required to do as \"my hairdresser\" That is someone with a special heart. She has been with me through curly hair, straight hair, no hair, blonde, platinum, and brunette hair and we still play around occasionally. .In addition to being my stylist for all of these years, she has been doing my daughters hair since she was a two year old terror!! Haircuts, color, formals, proms, etc. She is a college student of 20 now and still comes home for her highlights and cuts… lives in beautiful downtown Charleston where there are many upscale salons, however she refuses to let anyone but Terri touch her hair! Terri Gore truly loves her life and her family, and somehow manages to balance it all along with being the best hair stylist ever!!!

Love the salon, not only for the great haircuts etc... But for the community service projects which it does...that definitely makes it a \"cut above\" the rest! BTW Howard...the new hair color is working beautifully...and so many compliments!

I've been a client for almost 10 yrs, so obviously I am quite happy! Terri is superb but in a pinch I have gotten in with Howard and also one of the other stylists and have never been disappointed.

Howard has been taking care of my hair for years. He also cut my daughters\' hair from the time they were children until they left home. Now they are grown up and live out of state. Each time they have to get a haircut where they live I ask how they like it and they always say it is fine \"but it\'s not Howard.\"

A great salon

I have been going to Terri for years and couldn't ask for a better stylist. Made the mistake of going to someone else once and paid for it with a horrible haircut that made me look like a man! Thanks for always doing such a wonderful job!
