Josh Hair & Beauty, London

I went to Josh Hair and Beauty to get my first ever texture release, and the experience could not have been better. My appointment was originally booked for 3pm, but the salon had a cancellation at 12pm and kindly offered me the earlier slot. This worked out perfectly, as I was already in London for the day, and it meant I could finish much earlier than planned. Denise was my stylist, and she was incredibly welcoming and attentive. Susan and Chantelle also checked in on me throughout the appointment, making sure I was comfortable. At one point, Denise had to attend to another client, and Chantelle stepped in to help. She was gentle, friendly, and very easy to talk to. Susan also continued checking on me, making sure everything was going well. The atmosphere in the salon was warm and welcoming. Everyone joked with one another, and you could tell they genuinely enjoy working together. It made the whole experience feel even more comfortable. Although the whole process took around four hours, it honestly didn't feel that long because the atmosphere was so enjoyable. I'm not usually a fan of long salon appointments, but this one flew by. Denise took her time with my hair, ensuring every step of the process was done with care. I'm terrified of hot combs, but she was so gentle that it was over before I knew it. She wasn't focused on finishing quickly, her priority was making sure everything was done properly so that my silk press would last as long as possible. I travelled a long way to get this treatment, and it was absolutely worth it. I'll definitely be returning for my next appointment. I think I've finally found my salon in London!

I recently went for a big transformation and got a pixie cut. I was incredibly nervous beforehand, but the team made me feel so welcome from the moment I walked in. The atmosphere was amazing, and the hospitality made me feel completely at ease. Denise completed my transformation, and she is truly the “Pixie Queen”! She took the time to understand exactly what I wanted, and the result exceeded all my expectations. I received so many compliments that same day, and I genuinely feel so much more confident embracing my natural hair. What really stood out was how knowledgeable and supportive Denise was. She taught me more about caring for my hair, recommended products to use between appointments, and gave me great advice on maintaining my pixie cut so I can keep it looking its best. I couldn't be happier with my experience and I'm already looking forward to my next appointment. Thank you so much to Denise and the whole team—I couldn't recommend this salon more!

I recently visited Joshhair for my very first pixie cut, and I honestly had the best experience. My hairstylist was incredibly kind and made me feel comfortable right away. I went in for a wash and treatment on my relaxed hair, which had been breaking, and I had a really good experience. Sharon’s consultation was very detailed, and she was so patient throughout the appointment. I could genuinely see a difference in my hair by the end of the session. She was welcoming, friendly, and professional. I would definitely recommend her services.

Haircare at a top tier level ! After months of deliberation, I finally decided on banking on my self and investing in my hair care. after years of back to back wig wearing. For convenience but who's to say that natural hair can't be easy to maintain ? once you have had a one on one with skilled / experienced professionals. Location ok once you find it and the parking can easily be found from the shopping centre. due to time constraints unfortunately a last minute slot could not be honoured but a solution was offered which I am extremely grateful for. Sharon took her time to understand my haircare habits and tailored the whole experience around educating me passing on tips on how I could make the most out of the treatment. Extremely accommodating to my daughter who was entertained and well looked after throughout. Price a bit on the steep side , but competitive. And well earned for the hard work which goes into the processing. Only Con brought back trauma from slight nick with the straighteners which lefts marks on both ears. Will go back and look forward to next appointment.

Literally feels like a bar Spa! The washes are my favourite but also the entire service. From treatment, to colouring, styling and hair care - John hair and beauty is my go to!

My experience at this hair salon is wonderful, each and every time! Everyone there is super welcoming, professional and attentive. They immediately make you feel comfortable. My stylist really listened to what I wanted and gave helpful suggestions to make sure the final result suited me perfectly. You can tell they genuinely care about their clients and their work. I always leave feeling confident, refreshed and absolutely loving my hair. I would highly recommend this salon to anyone looking for talented stylists and great customer service.

Felt genuinely cared for from the jump. Thoughtful service (tea, drinks, nice touch). Asked the right questions to really understand my hair + routine, then gave practical tips I can actually use. Also learnt a lot about hair management and best practice which not all salons bother investing in the expertise. Most importantly, felt good the whole way through from walking in to walking out. Great salon. I’ll be back.

I had such a great experience at Josh Hair & Beauty the customer service from the entire team was genuinely outstanding from start to finish. Denise truly exceeded every expectation I had. She didn’t just give me a pixie cut she took her time to really curate a style that works specifically for me. What stood out the most is how intentional she was with every detail. She added elements to the cut that I didn’t even think to ask for, but absolutely needed to elevate the whole look. The result is a pixie that has beautiful movement and versatility, and just feels effortless. You can really see her level of professionalism, precision, and talent in her work… This is hands down the best pixie cut I’ve ever had!. I’m genuinely so happy with my hair Denise is amazing at what she does, and I even booked my follow up appointment on the spot.

Recently booked in for a wash, treatment, blow dry and canerow service. All the ladies were warm and welcoming. It was a recommended that I have a trim, which I also went ahead with. The wash was lovely and relaxing and the blow dry left my hair really smooth and moisturised. All in all a lovely experience and I will be returning.

This is my 3rd visit to Josh Hair & Beauty and I have to say I can’t fault the service! The hairdressers and stylists are 2nd to none and they have created some wonderful hair styles for me. In addition all the staff are so pleasant and make me feel very welcome. I would highly recommend.
