I cut my long hair when i was younger, since then my hair has been horrible. Ive tried NUMEROUS hair products, salons, you tube videos, etc. I made a last minute appointment with Dillon, he suggested layering my hair...NIGHTMARES flashed back of past attempts to layer. He seemed so professional and honestly into my hair, i said go ahead. WOW! OMG! amazing results. my fine see thru hair looks thick and flows as I walk. I have never had a hair styled so awesome! THANK YOU DILLON!

Tanner is amazing. Came in for a color correction...poor Tanner had his work cut out... He gave me a beautiful balayage that gets tons of compliments. Seriously couldn’t ask for a better result. You seriously get what you pay for and Tanner was worth every penny.

Laura is the best! She is so personable and she’s the only person I trust to give my hair a trim! 5/5 stars for sure

I have been going to Dee Dee for several years now and I can not say enough amazing things about her. If you are a blonde or are thinking about going blonde ...DEE DEE is your girl! She knows color better than anyone I have ever been to. Just recently we went back to my original color light brown and I am loving it!! I have been coloring my hair for over 30 years now so when I say that Dee Dee is the best hair stylist I have ever had, it means something.

BILLY ROCKS!!!!!!!!!!! He did an amazing job on my color yesterday after I screwed my head up at home doing my color myself!! He did a color balance and some highlights and made me feel like a million bucks leaving the salon! Thank you!!!!

I first heard about the salon while living in Georgia and planing my relocation to Florida. I've had extension before but I was so impressed by all the videos I watched about their techniques, the style, how classy and professional everything look, and OMG, everyone is so so so beautiful. Moved to Florida, scheduled the consultation, met with the staff. Pay deposit for hair, scheduled the hair extension date and the count down began. From the moment I walked in the salon everyone was attentive, friendly and welcoming. I felt at ease and comfortable. The day of the appointment was a very special one for me, and the royal treatment from the salon's staff was number one. Krista did my extension and wow, she is amazing. Her wise advise and attention to detail are at a very professional yet friendly. She is genuine and very sweet, and so so very beautiful inside and out. I will recommend the salon to anyone. I moved to South Florida and I still come back to Tampa to get my hair taken care of at the salon. I also got my eye lashed done by Sheryl. Wow!! Amazing lady and she's a pro at what she does. I felt asleep while she was doing the eyelashes, something for me impossible for me to accomplish while someone working on me. The ambiance, music, even the so comfy blanket. Ah, I also got the Brazilian wax and didn't hurt at all. Wine does help, lol. But Sheryl has a very special touch. Ethan was pretty amazing to be new at the salon, a well. These guys are MAGIC. I have been going to Krista for a few years now and I am so happy I made the decision. As a transplant from NYC, I previously used to travel to back to have my extensions re-done. My only regret is that I didn’t find her sooner! Krista and her team does a beautiful job time after time. I have extremely short (and very fine!) hair and have been doing the Great Lengths extensions for over five years. Krista has made my own hair healthier and strong enough to continue to have the extensions for my wanted volume and length. I would HIGHLY recommend Krista for anyone looking to get extensions as she is the best in class. Thanks to Team Monaco for keeping me looking and feeling beautiful!

Amazing top of the line service experience and salon experience at Monaco! I loved it! Dillon k did an amazing job to my hair and the blending of my hair and correcting my blonde job!! Seth and Lauren who also assisted were so sweet and also so helpful as well. The amount of time all three spent on my hair and explained the whole process and what products will help my hair grow and stay protected was very informative as well. Any questions I asked they always answered with such a positive tone. Definitely coming again! Today was my first time going to Monaco Salon. I cannot say enough great things about this salon. From the moment I made my reservation it just felt right. I had the pleasure of having Laura as my stylist. She was absolutely incredible. She took the time prior to have a consultation to discuss my hair which is truly important. She did my hair exactly like I wanted. She is an absolute doll. I left there feeling like a million bucks. After 4 years living in Tampa I found someone I completely trust. I will definitely go back. After putting off to get my hair done because of being scared of the outcome I did my research and decided to come to Monaco salon and see Dillon and I definitely made the right choice he was absolutely amazing and truly loves his job I can finally say I found not only a salon but a color expert for life

Far and away the best Salon in Tampa Bay.I have been a client of Krista for the past 13 years. She has been doing my extensions and color from 2004 until the present. Krista is an artist at her craft and makes each visit an enjoyable experience. The salon is lovely and her workmanship is superior. If you want an expert to handle your extensions and color look no further. Everyone else in town who claims to be an expert probably worked for Krista at some time and thinks they are at her level. Not so! Don't learn the hard way as so many other women have done. Invest in the best and you will not be disappointed!

This review is for stylist Billy, who by the way is nothing but amazing. I came to Billy to repair what another stylist had done to my hair. I showed him a picture of my hair that was taken just two days prior to what my color and the style my hair was. All I had wanted was the base roots done and highlights, what I got was a mess with my hair many different colors. I thought for sure my hair would never be the same. Billy’s confidence in correcting the problem was so positive at all times. He had no doubt what he was going to do. I have to admit I was crying as I had already been through so much with a prior stylist. But his confidence and the way he explained everything, why he had to this, and why we had to take things in steps to correct the disaster. As well as making sure he kept conditioning my hair to avoid too much over processing. He removed all of the different colors from my hair, as he put it, I am removing everything that stylist did to you. However, the other stylist over bleach my hair so there was still a lot that had to be done. I started thinking maybe he can do this, again his confidence in himself was, well, what I needed. After he completed what he needed to do for the base color, I had to come back for the final step the next morning. I was so sick when I got home, but I somehow felt he was going to come through. When he completed the final step the next morning and dried my hair I could see that my hair was very close to what it was. My heart was overwhelmed, I could not hold the tears of happiness back. I understood why he was so confident, he knew his trade well. I am a certified general contractor, I know a thing or two about knowing your trade. If you are reading this and you had a stylist just completely take away everything that you trusted, then you need to come to Monaco Salon and as for Billy. He is going to restore the trust you lost. One last word, Billy put hair extensions in my hair right after all the processing. I did not want really long hair just fullness and it to look natural it is really funny because people that see me every day don’t even know that anything happened to my hair, bad or good. Have you ever heard the term, DONE, well that is Billy. You want it this way, sure, consider it DONE ! Thank you Billy

I hadn't had a hair cut in two years and came upon this salon. I was apprehensive so I first scheduled a consult with Maggie. Once I met her I felt so comfortable I asked her to give me a hair cut the same day. I left the salon the happiest I have been in a long time. I can't wait for my next appointment. First of all, I wish to apologize for taking so long to write this review. I was having a blast enjoying my "new do with attitude". I want to thank Dillon for starting that new attitude! I am 62 years young and had recently had gastric bypass surgery. One of the major side effects is hair loss. With fine thin hair to begin with, this was very depressing for me. My husband and I were RVing through Florida and I found Monaco on Yelp. The best decision I ever made. I walked out a new woman...at least 10 years younger! Laurie, I want thank you as well. I still want to adopt you. Everyone was so nice and efficient. Most important to me, they made me feel very safe making the decision to go from mousey brown to PLATNUIM BLONDE! I have never received so many compliments in my life! Happy!

I have been to numerous salons/hairstylists everywhere and this has been the best place in Tampa! I'm not exaggerating when I say this, but people have messed up my hair and I always have to come back for color correction. My hair is naturally black, but of course, I don't like my natural color, so I always try to get highlights. Ever since I went to NYC to get my hair highlighted, no one can match that UNTIL I met Dillon at Monaco Salon in Tampa!! He is ABSOLUTELY the best!! The first time I came to him was bc I walked out of a salon with 7 different colors in my hair and bc the salon was closing, they didn't even blow dried my hair! The next time, I couldn't get an appt with Dilon, I was stubborn to go to another salon in Tampa and my hair also ended up having 3 different colors with the front of my hair around my face was yellow/white bleached blonde! Then I politely told the other stylist that I can't have my hair look like that, so she scheduled me for the week, which she ended up not asking how I want it to be fixed, and then my hair turned black and darker than my original hair color! I told her before that I don't like my hair black, red or bleached blonde. Anyway, I'm done looking for a stylist in Tampa!! Going back to Dillon/Monaco, the place is very welcoming. I like the setup they have where you can see the Color Bar while they're mixing the colors. I had to wait a little bit for Dillon to finish working with another customer, but it was WELL WORTH IT!! (You can't rush this stuff and I wouldn't want him to.) He really listened to what I had to say and I like his personality--He is also honest, so talented, funny and gives you advice on what to do without pushing you to buy any of their product line, etc. It also made me feel like he took me in as a "lost puppy" waiting to be saved, haha!! I'm usually open to different styles/colors, but not when the stylists do not listen and let me leave the salon looking a "hot mess"! lol. I hope Dillon never leaves, because like I said, he got the hair color I wanted the first time around, which NEVER happens to my hair. He also cut/styled it and I ABSOLUTELY LOVED (and still do love) IT!!!!!! Thanks so much Dillon!! See you next time!! (:

I am new to the Tampa area and with so many salons to choose from I was skeptical that I would find one that I would like. I am very picky about my hair and I have had some bad experiences in the past. I did as much research as I could and liked the reviews from Monaco. I was not let down! Billy was great and made me feel very welcome. I love the color and cut! Billy was able to match my hair color to the one I wanted. I will be back and telling my family and friends about Monanco.
