This could well be Derby’s best kept secret, but perhaps it’s not, with nearly 5,500 likes on Facebook Strutt’s has been cooking beauty at Mackworth House Farm for many a long day, and we can see why. A trip into town is an ache (and you can insert any word before ache if you like!) Strutt’s offer a just out of town experience free parking, free drinks & the ultimate solution to a bad hair day or on the other hand, or both, nails to die for.
Managed by Peter Yates & Mark Hebdon and ably assisted by Julie Whysall in the hair department. Mark Ruffell takes care of Nails. Some of you may recall Mark Hebdon from Chop & Change & Scarsdales at Park Farm centre, the current business has been around since 1999 & moved to it’s current idyllic location in 2012, Mark specialises in classic cuts and if your hair is a problem, Mark’s the man. Julie has been with the business since it started and specialises in cutting & colouring, but is trained in all aspects of hairdressing. Mark Ruffell is the nail technician & using the salon’s house brand – Cuccio, creates works of art using gels & veneers.
We think we’ve found a little diamond here, with wedding packages, manicures, pedicures or just a fantastic head of hair Strutt’s is the place other people tell you they’ve gone to. We suggest you get on the guest list, because if your name’s not down, you’re not coming in (unless of course you take one of our offers with you, we know the boss, and we get preferential treatment)
