The Suffolk Academy of Beauty, Newmarket Suffolk

I trained with the Suffolk Academy of Beauty for Level 2/3 Beauty last year and passed with flying colours thanks to the wonderful teaching supplied by Cat my fabulous teacher she is friendly, kind and cares that all her students do well. Beautiful college with high quality surroundings and products to learn with. I would highly recommend The Suffolk Academy of Beauty. I recently returned to the Academy to train for my ITEC Level 4, Microneedling and Chemical peels with Cat at the Suffolk Academy of Beauty. Cat is friendly and welcoming and a great teacher. The Training Academy is high quality as are the products used to learn with. I have really enjoyed this course and the process to get my qualification and can highly recommend the Suffolk Academy of Beauty.

Studied the level 2 and 3 beauty therapy combined course that began September and it was honestly the best decision , had 12 weeks of support and guidance from the most wonderful teacher Catriona , learnt so much and you can absolutely come out of that course and feel like a true beauty therapist. Catriona not only guides you throughout the course but she also finds the best way for you to learn as a individual and to make it easier for you to understand each treatment and the theory behind it. Would 100% recommend the Suffolk academy of beauty for anyone wanting to begin a beauty career because the teacher is amazing at what she teaches and you definitely will succeed.

From the first meeting with Cat I felt at ease. I was at a cross roads after being offered redundancy after 19 yrs in IT and really did not know what to do, I met up with Cat and knew it was Beauty I wanted to train in. Cat is so passionate about Beauty and her students, she is there for you all the way. I had many self doubt moments but Cat did not let me give up, she believed in me when I did not believe in myself. The course Cat has put together is so very well structured that before you know it you are gearing up for exams and all the weeks of hard work come together. It is hard work I won’t lie, you need to put your hours of practice and study in but if you work hard Cat will help you succeed. I’m missing my school days already so much that I’m looking to sign up for further courses Cat runs in her academy

I did a manicure course with trainer Catriona Morton. I highly recommend the academy and anyone who wants to go on one of there many courses. The academy is beautiful friendly and the standards and professionalisum was second to none. Can\'t wait to complete the opi gelcolour training wouldn\'t have done it without your support.

I recently completed and qualified the level 2-4 advanced aesthetic practitioner course at the academy and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. Cat was available for support whenever you needed her and the course was so organised, enjoyable and to SUCH a high standard. I was even able to gain employment after qualifying level 2+3 and still studying level 4! I couldn’t recommend the academy enough and I will 100000% be returning for further qualifications if they become available

I’m so so grateful for my time at the Suffolk Academy of Beauty, it gave me the opportunity to have a quick career change to beauty therapy - I really didn’t want to study for 2 years so 4 months was music to my ears! I won’t lie it’s not the easiest of courses but I promise you, 4 months of hard work and dedication is so worth it! After passing my final exam in October, I was hired as a full time beauty therapist at a salon 3 days later☺️ thank you so much Cat for making that happen!! ❤️

I\'ve spent the last 3 months at the Suffolk Academy and I can honestly say I would whole heartedly recommend it if you are wanting to study beauty. Not only is Cat the nicest person but she is the best tutor. There was never a moment where I thought I was by myself, she\'s incredibly supportive and only wants the best for her students. The course is by no means easy and you really do need to give it your all for the 12 weeks you\'re there but when I say it\'s worth it I truly mean it. I passed my final exam on Monday and am now a fully qualified Level 3 Beauty Therapist. I could not have done it without Cat! ❤️

Cat is an absolutely amazing teacher who goes above and beyond for every single student in the academy. Her knowledge and passion for the beauty industry shows through her teaching. So professional and organised with excellent support and guidance every step of the way. Cat pushes you to be your very best and achieve the highest standard so when you enter final exam and finish the course you feel extremely confident in your level of skills and treatments. It’s an intense course but you’ll be amazed at what you can learn in 12 weeks. You begin to feel like a little family and I will miss coming into the academy every week. So happy I completed the course and cannot wait for the opportunities it brings me in the future. Thank you Cat you are the best! ❤️

Cat is a brilliant tutor! I have learnt so much in 3 months, not only how to be the best beauty therapist I can but my own limits and strengths. She went above and beyond for every girl on the course and I know how grateful we all are. During this stressful time in all our lives this gave me purpose and a goal to work towards. I now have a new job, a qualification in beauty and a sense of hope for the future. Thank you Cat, you are the best. ❤️

I highly recommend this course if you’re wanting to do beauty training! I’ll be honest and say it’s tough and needs commitment, but it’s an amazing course which is structured from week one all the way to week twelve. All credit goes to Cat who gives her all for her students, getting to know you as well as being your tutor so she can train you to your needs and at your pace. She goes above and beyond for you and prepares you brilliantly for the final exam. I have just passed my final exam and have now got a job with this qualification....just two days after passing!! It really shows how fab this qualification is!

I would highly recommend the Academy. Very high standards and knowledgeable tutors. Cat was very approachable and has offered help at any time of the day (or night). I have just completed a combined Level 2&3 in Beauty Therapy course and I feel very confident at all treatments. I will definitely miss those days at the Academy and I can\'t wait to come back to do my Level 4 in the very near future. The best thing I have ever done for myself, definitely the best private academy across the UK

I was fortunate enough to get treated by the girls in training. I had a half leg wax, manicure and facial. I was greatly impressed with the skill that was shown as well as their attitude towards learning and customer care. A lovely atmosphere and service. Would 100% recommend.

I completed the level 2/3 diploma in beauty therapy at the end of August. I honestly couldn’t of wished for a better tutor. Cat is very supportive throughout and still in contact now to see how things are going. She goes above and beyond for all her students and is available day or night. It’s a lot of hard work and you need to be willing to put your all in, there’s a lot of laughs, feelings of being overwhelmed at times and a few tears, but the hard work definitely pays off and it’s an amazing feeling when the exam is finished and you find out you’ve passed. Cat prepares you to the maximum for the final exams and I couldn’t thank her enough for this. I must mention her business partner, Pete, who also shows massive support to all students, Cat, and the academy, he was on hand for everything. I couldn’t recommend this course enough if you want to completely change or just further your career. I’ve made some lovely friends on this course and I can’t wait to come back to complete further courses and extend my beauty knowledge.

Having recently passed my Level 3 with Cat, I can hand on heart say not only did I feel rewarded by the grade I achieved but I totally enjoyed every day at the Academy. A wonderful setting, practical for driving and parking nearby, quality products and equipment provided and I felt more prepared for actual employment - my confidence soared... I also now have my dream job! - Thank you and sincerely look forward to seeing you for some Level 4 and beyond in the future ❤

Just been to The Suffolk Academy of Beauty and had a microneedling facial done with a wonderful therapist. What an amazing place. Very professional, clean environment. Would recommend this to anyone. SAOB has the best and most informative courses I could find, the support is second to none and is on going even after the course. It’s a beautiful space, well presented and looked after, it has everything you need to learn and great course opportunities. I will be going back for more courses for sure!
