Tucked away in the Cavern Quarter, Button Street is Voodou’s 2nd city centre hair salon in Liverpool, providing hairdressing and barbering for both men and women.

The salon has a a relaxed and tranquil atmosphere that is quite different to the hustle and bustle of Bold Street. The team of stylists hold between them a stunning range of skills, qualifications and personalities which is reflected in their amazing work and nature of clients.

I had such a lovely experience with Frankie Ad. She is an amazing and genuinely caring person who really puts her clients first. My hair was severely matted, and she handled it with so much patience and care. Although some of my hair had to be cut, she did everything she could to detangle and save as much of it as possible. I’m extremely happy and satisfied with her service, and I feel very lucky to have met her, especially considering the condition of my hair. Hayley has done a perfect job every time. She is great at communicating and is so easy to work with. She gives advice and know what's works best for your hair. As an autistic, I find salons quite overwhelming but voodou is so chilled and laid back, and I don't worry about not being chatty, or not knowing about different things, you get exactly the experience you want/need

Frankie is just incredible. She made me feel so relaxed throughout the appointment and instantly understood what I wanted. She gave me the most fantastic perm, and usually after having it done I have to hide away for a couple of days before I can wash it and style it myself, but definitely don’t need to do that today!!

First visit to the salon this week and I honestly couldn’t recommend it highly enough! Rene and the whole team were fantastic from the moment I walked through the door to the moment I left. I showed Rene some inspiration for the hairstyle I wanted, and she absolutely smashed it! I went in with very little volume in my hair and came out with a perm that has genuinely transformed my look. I’ve had so many compliments already, and it’s given me a massive boost in confidence! A huge thank you to Rene and the team for making the whole experience so enjoyable and delivering exactly what I was hoping for.
