10/10 experience The price was twice as much as what I paid at my old salon but the experience here was ten times better. No waiting. I was given a private room as requested. Service was excellent, place was very clean. I was disappointed with my previous haircut and with precise skills I got my blonde shag with dark roots and a lovely fringe! I had my first appointment this morning for a full headcolour,cut and blow and was so impressed ,the staff in the salon are all welcoming and the atmosphere relaxed,my hair looks fantastic thanks to the talented Nicole and not sure of the other female who also assisted,thanks Ladies.

Disappointed The place itself is not bad, however I dint enjoy the results. My hairdresser was cold and dismissive of what I wanted. I wanted a drastic change, but left with minimal changes. I didn't felt I was heard or what I wanted was taken into account. All in all it was really general service which was very expensive. I could have gotten the same thing at college salon 4x times cheaper. Very disappointed as its such a popular salon. It was my first time but I won't be coming back. I'm already looking for another salon that will help me with alternative hairstyle and listen to me better. Such a shame. Friendly, professional, inclusive I've been going to Frankie for barbering since early last year, after a friend recommended the salon as a safe space for queer people. As a trans & genderqueer person, I love that the salon is welcoming and inclusive. Frankie is friendly and very accepting and cuts my hair however I want it, while making helpful suggestions. We chat about various things and I look forward to my regular visits! They have clearly thought about making it a safe and inclusive space, for example clients can book barbers or hairdressers regardless of their gender, just going by their needs. The salon is bright and often busy, but there are quiet and private areas available for those who need it. I'd recommend this salon to all my trans (and non-trans!) friends.
