I was bit disappointed with the result of my recent appointment. I made it very clear that I did not want a shadow root done, as I came in specifically wanting my roots fully covered. Despite this, I left the salon with my roots still showing because a shadow toner was applied anyway. What was particularly frustrating was that another member of staff even said she would double-check with the stylist to make sure she understood that I did not want a shadow root. However, while my hair was being washed, I overheard the stylist telling another staff member that she had done it anyway. This made me feel that my wishes were ignored. I also felt that the bleach was not left on long enough. The top section of my hair could have done with a few more minutes, as it did not lift as well as I had hoped. I was at YGH two months ago with the same stylist, and she assured me that the banding in my hair would be fine after the second appointment, but unfortunately it is still visible. What makes this more disappointing is that when I first started coming to YGH, I was booked with one of the trainee stylists. My hair was much darker then, yet she always did her best to get me as blonde and bright as possible, and I was very happy with the results. Because my hair is already blonde, I don’t understand why we have been unable to achieve the same result with a more experienced stylist. I have always been happy with the service at YGH, which is why this is so disappointing. However, my last two visits have left me unhappy with the results, especially considering the cost. When I was seeing a trainee, the appointments were much cheaper, yet I was actually happier with the outcome than I have been paying full price.

Leanne did a brilliant job on my hair. Enjoyed the chat. I was feeling very stressed (work etc.) and that hour out, Grazia and coffee for myself was like therapy. I also bought a lovely moisture conditioner from your new range. The icing on the cake was that the best part of my week only cost €16.75 with YGH hair club! Thank you.

All good, from calling and speaking to Dearbhla to book appointment , having a gorgeous scalp massage , been asked what if any issues I suffer with to decide which was best or preferred shampoo ... walked back to chair , asked if i wanted tea or coffee to having Leah blow dry my hair all 10 out of 10. in and out in 30mins ....

Your service is fantastic. The only issue I have is I think the price of an all over colour and cut is bit too pricey.
