New year - New hairstyle. I was welcomed into the salon,my coat was taken and I was offered tea or coffee.As I do not drink either was offered a cold drink instead.Ruby escorted me to a chair and then asked what I was looking for today?I asked for a pixie cut,with shaved back,short around the ears and feathered fringe.Ruby asked how short for the back and what length for the top .I was then taken to have my hair washed, conditioned and a head massage if wanted.Ruby explained what products she was using and why .Ruby was very gentle when cutting my hair and chatted away ,which helped to put me at ease( I haven't been to a salon in over 20 years).Ruby finished by blow drying my hair and then put products on to fix the style( she explained what they were and what they did).I was very impressed by Ruby and the care given by the staff and would recommend this salon. 3 year old who hates hair cuts My 3 year old hates having his haircut. We’ve been using a mobile hairdresser and it had become an awful experience for all of us. We cautiously tried the salon thinking a change may be helpful. I cannot describe how impressed I was with Bethan. She engaged him on topics he was interested in, moved at his pace and to our amazement, managed to get him to close his eyes and even laugh. It was such a relief.
